Dhanistha nakshtra lies within the constellation of Delphinius, the dolphin. It spans the area near sidereal Capricorn and Aquarius. Shaped like a drum or diamond, with the  drum and flute as it’s symbols. Both are hollow vessels and connect to dancing, music, rhythm, movement, athleticism, action, and listening to the beat and inner rhythm of the heart. Dhanistha is  connected to the drum of Shiva, especially since this full moon falls at the end of the month of Shravan, sacred to Shiva. During this time, it’s said that the cosmic ocean was churned and Lord Shiva drank the poison that came up in order to protect all of the universe.  As a result of consuming the poison, his throat turned blue.

Channeled healing is a distance healing - energy healing offering that’s evolved out of my work over the 20+ years through working with various modalities like Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, Energy Healing, Shamanic Healing, Maya Spiritual Healing, Cranio Sacral Therapy, and so on. All therapeutic modalities have the potential for channeling to occur, in my experience. As a channel, my body is a pathway for me to connect to energies and facilitate the healing process by allowing energies to move through me in a way that connects to my client while held in a sacred space where energetic protection has been called in. One way to describe it is entering a trance-like, semi conscious state during the session that allows energies and energetic beings to do their work. It’s like being in the back seat and allowing someone else to drive temporarily. Since the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual are interwoven, holding one or several intentions is okay and the work will unfold how it is supposed to.
